Querly Chin

The Querly Chin lineage, known as BWP performance lineage 34, is a true gem in the world of show jumping and horse breeding. It is globally recognized as one of the most significant dam lines. The roots of this lineage trace back to the mare Kerly by Pachat II, who had already achieved success at the 1.60-meter level. Her daughter, Qerly Chin by Chin Chin, continued the lineage's success and stood out for her exceptional willingness to perform, endless scope, and elasticity. Qerly Chin was a true powerhouse with a perfect attitude towards the sport. Joris de Brabander, the head of Stal de Muze and a renowned Belgian breeder, recognized the quality of this lineage early on and decided to further develop the Qerly Chin lineage. Through the use of embryo transfer techniques and the best stallions in the world, he succeeded in refining the genetics of this lineage and producing internationally successful offspring.

Narcotique de Muze II, a daughter of Darco, was one of twelve offspring from Querly Chin's early years. Under the Canadian rider Eric Lamaze, she collected numerous victories at the 1.60-meter level and became not only highly successful in sport but also renowned as a dam of stallions. She produced several international show jumping horses, including Vagabond de la Pomme, who achieved success in five-star courses, World Cup jumping, and Nations Cups under Pénélope Leprevost. In addition to Narcotique de Muze II, there were also the famous Narcotique de Muze IV (by Quidam de Revel), Exquis Walnut de Muze, and the outstanding Werly Chin de Muze (both by Nabab de Reve). In total, there were 8 mares and 4 stallions in four years, all of whom gathered attention due to their offspring and descendants.

However, the success story of this lineage extends over many more generations and includes an impressive list of internationally successful show jumping horses. Some of the most well-known include Killer Queen VDM (ridden by D. Deusser, GER), Qyerlybet Hero (P. Le Jeune, BEL), Sea Coast Ferly (G. Patteet, BEL), Heroine de Muze (T. Sugitani, JPN), Levis de Muze (Ioili Mytilineou, GRE), Nimrod de Muze Z (P. Veniss, BRA), Go Easy de Muze (D. Kenny, IRL), Jenson van't Meulenhof (N. Bruynseels, BEL), Exquis Walnut de Muze (H. Smolders, NED), I'm Special de Muze (Zoi Snels, NED), Million Dollar (S. Hinners, GER), Kasanova de la Pomme (K. Verrecke, BEL), Iphigenia de Muze (G. Wathalet, BEL), Edison van Schuttershof, and Ducati van Schuttershof (both ridden by G. Thomas, BEL), among many others.

The Qerly Chin lineage is undoubtedly one of the most successful in the history of show jumping. It has not only produced outstanding athletes but also significant sires such as I'm Special de Muze and Million Dollar. This lineage continues to be a source of exceptional performance and talent in the world of show jumping, carrying on its impressive success story.
